This article rebuts (heh, rebuts) another article decrying textspeak as the worst thing ever we're all going to die civilization is over, &c. The article is crammed with a bunch of medieval abbreviations, and they are awesome to behold. I would very much like to make current the Old English glyph for "that", which, like the ampersand, is a superimposition of several letters. And one of the letters is a thorn, which is the sexiest of archaic letters, no lie. Holy god, this is like typographical smut.
