Fed (Newsflesh Trilogy #1.5)
An alternate ending for Feed which is probably unnecessary, but also pretty fun. After I read all the Newsflesh books, I was in a serious jones for more of the world, despite some troubles with said world. I certainly appreciate a kind of non-canon take on events and characters, working out what happens and to whom. Zombie stories, at best, can be about the essential randomness of who lives and dies, and this is a nice blind alley about that. We're all up against the blind alley of mortality.
